Bundeera Sanctuary in the Wide Bay area of Queensland is a little oasis off the main highway. A quiet and serene place for animals to wait for their permanent homes or to retire to in total comfort.
We love spoiling our animals here with the very best of food, love and care. Lush green paddocks, comfy shelters and roomy accommodation means the happiest of times for all.
Set on 110 acres consisting of half paddocks and half native bushland there is plenty of room to spread out. With 8 dams and many seasonal creeks, water is always available and makes for such a pretty setting.
Visitors are always welcomed by appointment and volunteers can come and camp onsite for free in exchange for an hour or two a day helping out.
